hard times

It has been a long dark journey.

This has been a trying year, on so many levels. And to put it mildly, it is not ending with a clear sense of victory. At best, it's a cliffhanger.

I'm still here, though. Still fighting.

Strength in the new year. There are better times ahead.

It is pitch dark now. But there are faint points of light in the distance. They'll be here soon enough.
